Trident Surgical, LLC

Trident Surgical, LLC is a distributor of orthopedic medical device products covering most of New England. Tyler Naselli and John Herman started this unique business of providing orthopedic products to operating rooms seven years ago. Their high-quality of service and local knowledge are what help the communities they serve.  When the pandemic hit, elective surgeries came to a halt, which paused Trident Surgical’s operations. Tyler turned to South Shore Bank who assisted with PPP loans which soon led to a full banking relationship.

Tyler Naselli, a Hingham resident, walked into his local Banking Center location and met with Commercial Banking Relationship Manager, John Mannion. “John made the process easy, uncomplicated, and attainable for Trident Surgical,” says Tyler. Due to their partnership with South Shore Bank, Trident Surgical was able to maintain their business and keep people employed during a monumental time in history. From that point on, Tyler and John made the decision to transfer all their business’s needs to South Shore Bank.

John Herman feels there are parallels between what Trident Surgical and South Shore Bank strive to do in the community. “Service is important to us, and we found that at the Bank,” he says, “Having local people at the Bank who are ingrained in the community provides the opportunity to develop relationships. You get to know and see each other around the community. John Mannion is that person who is always there with accurate, timely information and has made a big difference with Trident Surgical.”

Tyler and John credit South Shore Bank’s level of service as a key highlight of Banking with us. Tyler was impressed when John Mannion recently extended an invitation to attend a breakfast with the Quincy Chamber of Commerce where he was introduced to Jim Dunphy, the Bank’s President and CEO. Making connections in the community is important to small business owners, and Tyler values his ability to have a direct line to someone at the Bank. John concludes that “The seamless processes in place at South Shore Bank are a game changer for us to be successful.”
